We really went for the shock factor in that title, didn’t we?
With everything happening in the world, you wouldn’t think that more drama is what we all need.
Here’s your quote for today: “It’s not that people are too dramatic. It’s that we don’t take our lives dramatically enough.”
Let’s unpack that a bit.
There’s some lightheartedness to the statement, “You need more drama in your life.” But there’s also some truth.
Too often, we fail to see the drama attached to our lives. We’re so used to the general act of living that we fail to understand there’s something vast and eternal at stake.
People are going to hell.
That should be enough to spark us to life, to take each moment seriously.
The amazing news available to us all the time is this: God gave us breath. We woke up and got to face another day. That’s important and meaningful and we should remain mindful of it!
Bottom line: God placed within you a drive for significance. He made you to count.
Today, embrace the drama of life as God created it. No matter how little a difference you may seem to make at times, remember that there’s something eternal at stake through you, your life, and your decisions. You matter and you count.
